Tick Tock: A Tale for Two
With the end of the year upon us, we decided to look into what 2019 has planned for it’s first few months. Tick Tock: A Tale for Two, is a cooperative puzzle solving experience developed by Other Tales Interactive, who graciously provided Kelf and I copies for this sneak peak.
Tick Tock: A Tale for Two, tasks it’s players with communicating across two separate devices to solve various puzzles. Commonly you’ll find you and your partner have 2 halves to combined in order to solve each problem your presented with in this mystical world, an example being combining a train ticket’s details in order to board it.
In our beta playthrough we also discovered the unique ways players will connect to each other, each player selects one of the 2 gameplay paths but never directly connects to a lobby, so playing this offline also seems like possibility with cross platform play on the horizon.
We personally found the beta to be a relaxing yet engaging experience and would highly recommend you consider trying it with a friend in the new year.
Tick Tock: A Tale for Two is planned for release in the first quarter of 2019 on steam here.
Our thanks goes to Other Tales Interactive for providing us with copies for this Preview.
