Thimbleweed Park is an old school point and click mystery adventure from the creators of Monkey Island and Maniac Mansion. We saw the game for the first time at Gamescom 2016 at the ID @ Xbox booth and since then it got us very interested, because the game looked exactly like a love letter to that golden era of point and click adventures. Finally, we have a release date and the platforms in which Thimbleweed Park will apear.
Thimbleweed Park will release on March the 30th for Windows, Mac, Xbox One and Linux. It will be availlable on Steam, Xbox LIVE and GOG with other stores to follow. The actuall price of the game will be announced closer to the release date. The developers also plan to bring Thimbleweed Park to iPhone/iPad and Android later this year and hope to bring the game to other consoles and platforms in the future, but no other versions are confirmed.
Thimbleweed Park will have English voice and subtitles plus the following localizations: German, French, Spanish, and Italian subtitles upon release. Russian subtitles will follow soon after launch. These will be added to the game as a free update.
We at Hyper Light Up are excited for the release of Thimbleweed Park and can’t wait to play it.
