The Roguelite elements surprisingly is where this game shines the most though. Whenever you fail a heist in the result of a dead thief, you’ll lose your current experience that thief while still maintaining your money and gadgets. This then forces you to build up your criminals career again in order to receive bonuses, that will make the games final act easier to accomplish.

Red strings club is really one of those rare story driven adventure games that has interesting gameplay to accompany the Stella story. You’ll slowly uncover the subtle puppeteers behind the inner workings of this world, uncovering these truths may prove difficult however as your trapped in the red strings club only able to influence those who chance upon your establishment.

With minimal guidance from those at Failbetter Games. Pixel Trickery has managed to craft together a compelling adventure into the depths of horror and intrigue. Despite the maps unpolished presentation, the house of many doors holds many secrets for you to discover trapped in it’s forgotten walls.

After Invisible inc.’s headquarters are destroyed it’s up to the tail coated man of fashion, Decker and the rest of the agency to rebuild what was lost. With the help of a failing Ai it becomes a race against the clock, as you hack, steal and taser your way around the world to find a solution.

Can you save the agency from total annihilation? Only time will tell.

Steam World Dig is the most recent 2-D entry in the steam world series released and developed by Image & Form Games.
This time the mechanics go back to it’s roots. An underground adventure in the vast depths of the steampunk earth, Rusty has gone missing and it’s your job to uncover the truth behind is disappearance.

Steam world games have always been a real treat to enjoy. The introduction of new and interesting mechanical devices to accompany your decent into the depths adding to the already well established lore this world holds.
It’s well worth a look.

West of loathing is like catching lighting in a bottle, the odd combination of humor, JRPG’s, the wild west and stick figures?!

This title is a happy disaster of a good time from start to finish created by Asymmetric. After laughing us silly for 10 hours we highly recommend if you need a comedy this year you should check this out little western adventure out.

Bad north is created by Plausible Concept and published by Raw Fury and serves as a perfect relaxing yet thought provoking tool, perfect to unwind with after a long day. It’s minimalist art style and slow strategic planning lead into the games easy to learn hard to master system. Small skill trees allow you to mix and match unit positioning in anticipation for the next wave.

Bad North promises to be a nice brain teaser for those late hours of downtime this year with plenty of character to keep you coming back.
