The game is made by Rockfish Games. We had the chance to preview the game a while ago, before its full release and were quite excited for its full release.
During Gamescom 2017, Everspace was showcased at the Indie Arena Booth and we had the pleasure of talking to William Turrall, who is an influencer and community frontline marketeer for Rockfish.
The game fully launched a few months back but William told us that “we are here to show what indies can do basically.” We talked about the game and how far it has come in development and William said that “AAA graphics is what were going for and it worked out well quite well.”
The studio is now planning to release a DLC for the game sometime in October. There will be more gameplay, story and characters along with the fact that there will be 4 available ships in total to choose from, once the DLC is out. “Players have been asking for it, so we are trying to deliver,” explained William. The company is also working on a port for the game to PlayStation 4 which is planned to come sometime in the first quarter of 2018. Talking about a Switch port, William said that “there are quite a few technical challenges for still making the port to Switch, but it would be awesome to have space-on-the-go once it is ready.”
William left us by saying “the DLC is awesome and I personally cannot wait to actually stream it once it’s out” leaving us with something to be hyped about.
